PRESIDING PRELATE
Chief Apostle Charles R. Walker is the Founder and Senior Pastor of True Holiness the Intentional Church, and the Presiding Prelate and Establishmentarian of the True Holiness Global Churches, Inc. denomination. He is a licensed and ordained pastor and consecrated bishop, with apostolic succession. He is the youngest of ten siblings and husband to Overseer Mary Annette Walker. Apostle Walker has one son, Elder Shaunte’ Walker and one grandson, Te’Shaun Walker, and a host of God given children and grandchildren.
Apostle Walker received his early years of education in the Pittsylvania County School System. Thereafter, he later received managerial training upon entering the workforce in the food industry. He received his Master’s and Doctorate Degrees in Theological Studies, from the Jacksonville Theological Seminary, where he currently serves as a facilitator. In 2013, a unique opportunity presented itself where he was able to visit Israel, The Holy Land of Jerusalem.
Apostle Walker has received a plethora of awards and trophies of recognition for the Electrifying United Mass Choir. The choir has appeared on Bobby Jones Gospel and recorded three studio projects. Apostle Walker is a highly sought-after preacher and motivator. He is well known throughout the community as an entrepreneur and business owner, being a proud co-owner of the premier gourmet cake company, Ma’s Cakes, in Danville, Virginia. To add to the many accomplishments and endeavors, Apostle Walker is also an accomplished author, who currently completed his second book, “Fighting to Finish, Not Fighting to Win: The Finished Work of the Cross."
Most of all, Apostle Walker has a love for God and his passion is for the soul of man. He teaches that when one comes to Jesus Christ, that they should develop their own personal relationship with the Lord. He leads by example and has transformed church culture throughout the denomination. He is a consummate visionary and knows how to inspire others who share his vision. Throughout the land, he is known as the “Holy Ghost Coach.” Apostle Walker is truly a baptized believing God Chaser!
VICE-BISHOP
Bishop Dr. Wallace P. Hairston was born on May 28, 1959. He gave his life to the Lord during the year of Spring Revival in 1974 and began to take an active role in the church under the leadership of the late Bishop Dr. R. G. Woodson. He recognized that God had given him the gift of music and began diligently studying piano and organ.
After much study and prayer, his dreams became a reality. Bishop Dr. Wallace P. Hairston served for over twenty-five years in the music ministry and taught music for over ten years until his schedule would no longer permit. He married the love of his life, Sharon D. Adams on July 31, 1982. To this union two sons were born, Pastor Marcus D. (Ashley) Hairston and
Deacon Courtney A. (Jessica) Hairston, which added to his family, six grandchildren.
Bishop Dr. Wallace P. Hairston has many accolades to thank God for and in his words, “To God Be The Glory For the Great Things He Has Done!” He currently serves as the Vice Bishop of True Holiness Global Churches Inc., Pastor of New Vision Church, 24 Baltimore Avenue, Danville, VA and founder of New Vision Church House of Praise, Danville, VA and is celebrating over 20 years of wonderful power packed, electrifying ministry.
